Almost Midnight
18 x 18” acrylic, mixed media on wood panel
The first pieces of this new series sit within the quiet threshold between endings and beginnings. Created in layered shades of deep blues, grays, and blacks, the works reflect the stillness of that final hour, when the day has settled into itself and something new is already near.
Often created during these late hours in the studio, the series carries a sense of quiet finality alongside a feeling of anticipation. The day is settled and complete, yet there is a growing awareness that a new one is near, bringing with it the possibility to shape what comes next. Influenced by modern architecture, the work moves between external structures and inner landscapes, drawing the viewer into the space between.

places i may have been
18 x 18” acrylic, mixed media on wood panel
This series of paintings reflects a combination of my memories of real places and vivid, often surreal scenes drawn from dreams. They blend familiar feelings and emotions while weaving together past memories and fleeting visions. For me, each one holds the familiarity of a single point within an unfolding adventure.
Viewed together, the paintings suggest an intuitive journey where each piece acts as a moment or waypoint within a larger, shifting landscape. It's difficult to say with certainty where the line between reality and imagination ultimately lies. What I am sure of is that these places did not fully exist before. They were created through a process of feeling, discovery, and exploration.
